The company Dethleffs GmbH & Co. KG is based in Germany and is the Data Controller within the meaning of the GDPR. The data you send us will be stored in our centralised customer database in Germany.

Purpose and legal basis for the processing of your personal data

Our collection and processing of personal data is based on the provisions of the GDPR. The legal basis for data processing in the context of image, sound and video recordings (hereinafter referred to as “recordings”) and the competition is based on Art. 6 (1) (1) (a) GDPR. The personal data you send us will be collected, processed and used for the purpose of publishing the recordings on the channel you have selected and, if you take part in the competition, to administer the competition.

Data transmission within the Group

Your data will not be shared within the Group. If there is an exchange of this data within the Group, this will take place for the purpose of administering the competition or processing your image material, or on the basis of your consent. We may also have an interest in sharing this data for internal, administrative purposes. Should the processing of your data take place outside Europe, the data will be transferred in compliance with all applicable data protection laws.

Data transfer to other recipients

Your data will not be transferred to other recipients. Should a transmission to other recipients take place, this will only occur to the extent necessary for the processing of the prize competition. To this end, we use service providers who assist us with the implementation of the competition. They will act only on our instructions and process the data only for the specified purpose. Any use beyond this shall not take place and shall require legal authorisation or consent.

Transfer of the data to a third country or international organisation

Your data shall only be transferred to a third country or to an international organisation to the extent that we publish your personal data within the scope of your consent on a social medium in the context of reporting. The transfer shall be based on your explicit consent in accordance with Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR.

The existence of automated decision-making, including profiling

We do not carry out automatic decision making or profiling.

Storage duration

In accordance with the duration and scope of the anniversary campaign, or following the withdrawal of your consent, your data will be deleted, unless it is subject to statutory retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right to receive information about your stored personal data free of charge at any time, as well as the right to its correction, to data portability and to the deletion of this data. Where the deletion conflicts with statutory retention periods, we will have said deletion blocked. You are also entitled to object to the processing of this data or to demand that we restrict its processing. You also have the right to appeal to a supervisory authority.

If the data processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw this consent with lasting effect at any time.
